A Comeback Tour
For Professional players 47+
What’s with the name?
It started as a joke. I told my wife I was tired of competing against all the younger “flat bellies,” and she shot back, “So where do the fat bellies play?” And just like that — the Fat Belly Tour was born. We kept the name because in a world full of noise, we’d rather stand out than blend in. Plus, we’re not 20 anymore — and we’re good with that.
So whether you’ve got a belly or not, grab your clubs and hit the greens. It’s time to show the young guns we’ve still got game.

The Fat Belly Tour is a grassroots professional golf tour built for the players who never gave up. Whether you're chasing the dream for the first time or making your return to the game after years away, this is your stage. Designed for professionals aged 47+, the FBT exists to provide real playing opportunities, competitive purses, and a chance to prove that your best golf might still be ahead of you.
Founded by pro golfer and performance game coach Michael Bruchet, the tour combines elite competition with a community-first mission. Each 3-day tournament includes the Dads with Lads Pro-Am — a family-friendly, philanthropic event that invites fathers and junior golfers to team up with the pros. These events raise funds and awareness for youth-focused charities like Build a Game for Life and The First Tee, reinforcing our belief that the game of golf can change lives.
This isn’t just a tour. It’s a movement. A comeback. A bold new chapter for players who still have something to prove and something to give. Welcome to the Fat Belly Tour — Your Comeback Tour.

The Dads with Lads Pro-Am is more than just a golf event — it’s a community movement to strengthen the bond between fathers and their kids through the game of golf. Hosted alongside every Fat Belly Tour tournament, this unique Pro-Am invites dads (or father figures) to team up with junior golfers for a family-friendly, purpose-driven experience. Local businesses are invited to rally behind the event as sponsors, helping fund youth golf camps through programs like Build A Game For Life and The First Tee. It’s a high-energy, heart-centered day that creates lifelong memories, introduces kids to positive role models, and reinforces the power of father-child connection — something we believe is vital in today’s world.
This grassroots initiative is also the launchpad for the Dads with Lads National Golf League — a seasonal, team-based father-junior league piloting in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Designed for families who want to participate in a fun-yet-competitive format, the league builds confidence, character, and community. Each season culminates in a special invitation for top teams to compete alongside the Pros at the Fat Belly Tour Championship. Whether you’re swinging for fun or for a future in the game, Dads with Lads is the pipeline for the next generation — on the course and at home.
A partnership that drives impact
The Fat Belly Tour is more than a golf circuit — it’s America’s Comeback Tour. We’re creating real playing opportunities for professional golfers aged 47+ while building a grassroots movement that connects families, strengthens communities, and fuels the next generation through the game of golf.
Every tour stop includes the Dads with Lads Pro-Am, a powerful one-day event where fathers and junior golfers team up with the pros — raising funds for youth programs like Build A Game for Life and The First Tee. These events draw families, fans, and local press, creating a unique opportunity for local businesses to gain targeted visibility in their region while aligning with a values-driven mission. From hole sponsors and vendor booths to social media features and on-site signage, we offer customizable packages to help you stand out and connect with your community.
At the national level, we’re looking for aligned brand partners who share our passion for perseverance, performance, and purpose. As we expand across the country, national sponsors will benefit from broad exposure across digital platforms, media coverage, branded content, and featured placement at high-traffic events — including our growing social media audience and championship-stage visibility.
Whether you’re a local business ready to rally around your hometown players and families, or a national brand seeking high-integrity reach in a new market, we invite you to join the club.
